Weird History Food is taking you around the World in 15 minutes to see World Food Festivals. Whether spoken or implied, people often have a set of food rules they live by. We learn from a young age to not throw our food, share our meals with animals, or play with the veggies, fruits, and proteins on our plates. However, these same rules that seem pretty standard when it comes to dinnertime etiquette sometimes get completely thrown into the metaphorical food waste bin when it comes to festivals.

I’ve actually been to the Testicle Festival in Nebraska…. Fun event, and tried one on a dare. That was a one and done, lol. 🐮
@7:53 – I remember when there was a theory that The Smurfs was written by communist promoters.
Its the female narrator
The Thai Monkey Buffet Ffestival looks brilliant and fun, I want to go to it!
@12:43 – That reminds me of the music video "Bad Touch" by Bloodhound Gang.
I wonder how many people those tomatoes could have fed?

Amazing❤️🙌Being able to provide all my needs without the help of the Government is really a dream come through and I’m getting $43,050 returns from my $7k investment, glory to the everlasting God almighty.
A+ video!
Amazing festivals, such great and unique ideas!
I'll take the "Safest" one, SPAM Festival, plus as a bonus, I get to visit Hawai'i. C'mon… That's gotta be the best deal, right?!
The research, visuals, writing, and narration, are all stellar. Love to see new WH and WHF releases in the sub box!
Yum😋
That Campbell’s soup joke was hilarious! 😂😂😂
15:00 Reggae is Jamaica. Trinidad and Tobago is calypso and soca music.
Can't help but notice the wastage in some of these festivals….. watermelon is so expensive in NZ and they are shoving their feet in them?? Lol
Because I watch weird food history my kids don’t eat, thanks Factor!!!
FUN FACT!! An American man, from Washington (my state) won that Cheese Rolling Competition in Gloucester this year!!
did they just do a face reveal?
There is also a Testicle Festival in Payson Arizona
There has, in fact, been a radish Pokemon since the very first generation.
Hope Ivrea Carnival and the Battle of the Oranges are in there 😒
This voice is not as good as the male one
Something wrong with your video, the frame rate is all over the place and choppy.
I'm a simple guy.
I hear someone other than the true announcer, I skip.
While I'm sure the tomato festival would be awesome, I'll stay well clear of Spain when it's on. I'd rather avoid the long hospital stay with allergies.
How about foods from the World's Fair?
Thanks for this! 🪅 #WeirdHistoryFood #FoodHistory #FoodFestival #FoodFestivals #WorldFoods
You should do FOLKLORAMA in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada 🇨🇦
The worlds largest multinational multicultural festival! The food is great too! 😊 coming this August
Since the 1980s I believe
Always love your videos! I wouldn't mind attending most of them, they look like lots of fun! Just one thing…the one with tomatoes (and maybe the watermelon one?). I know it's supposed to be fun too but it's a waste of food. I hope the money made goes to people who need it?
This is why world hunger is bullshit…
As a born and raised Mainer I have to say mashed potato wrestling is not something I have EVER heard of…
What about the World Custard Pie Championships?
I swear they give this narrator all the B-material to work with.
Are they listening to Reggae or Soca in Trinidad and Tobago?🙃
Testicle Festival in Tiro Ohio also.
The Pancake Fest would be my favorite festival to go to! I LOVE PANCAKES SO MUCH! This was a really epic video, Weird History! Did you know many mascots were voiced by famous voice actors? That would be a great subject to have a video on. I even have a few mascots that should be on the list!
1: The Jack In The Box Bunch [Jack In The Box restaurants, 1970s], voiced by Paul Winchell, voice of Tigger. Even though there's only three commercials [Baseball, In The Park, Jack In The Box Animated Commercial 1970], and the three comics [How A House Makes Noise, Where Oil Comes From, How Pain Helps Us], they are very charming, and you can definitely tell Paul Winchell voices the characters. Most noticeable with Jack and Onion Ring Thing. Paul Winchell was also the original voice of Burger Chef, then Hal Smith took over the role. Paul Winchell also had his own puppet show [Winchell-Mahoney Time], and invented the artificial heart.
2: The Frito Kid and Oscar Mayer's Little Oscar: Voiced by Richard Beals, who also did Speedy-Alka Seltzer [the irony of that is not lost on me], Buzzer Bell from The Funny Company, Ralph Phillips from Looney Tunes, and various other radio, tv and advertising. Sadly, only one Frito Kid commercial is on YT, and the only animated Little Oscar ad is on Historic Films.
3: Officer Big Mac [Mcdonald's], voiced by Ted Cassidy [Lurch from the Addams Family].
4: Fresh Up Freddie from 7-Up [Paul Frees], interesting fact: Disney designed this mascot.
5: Toucan Sam [Mel Blanc, man of 1000 voices. Best known for Bugs Bunny and other Looney Tunes characters].
6: Captain Crunch [Daws Butler, Huckleberry Hound and Yogi Bear's voice actor, amongst many voices he did.]
There's plenty of mascots voiced by famous voice actors, but these are the most interesting IMO, and the ones I can think of at the top of my head.
No no no where’s the funny voice over guy?
The Monkey festival sounds cool.
I hate festivals where tons of food are wasted as the main focus. In times of economic crises and millions of people starving to death, rolling in tomatoes and then throwing them away is reprehensible.
At 54 seconds you see Man Beard Food at Fort Worth Texas restaurant Ole South Pancake House on University. I ate there a few days ago.
There is, infact, a Radish Pokemon. It's called Oddish.
Crappy salespitch in the middle? Thumbs down.
there is a radish Pokémon its called oddish
HER JOKES DO NOT LAND!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE STOP HAVING HER NARRATE EPISODES!!!!!!!
