  1. how on earth they managed to harvest an unripe Cabernet in Italy? did they harvest in July? 😅

  2. I haven't tasted any bordeaux blends from. Italy. Except sasicaia few times and very few high end wines. It seems to me though they are not worth it based on this tasting. Only one that was good. There are so many great wines from Italy from local grapes. Nebbiolo and Sangiovese at the top. The style is unique and can only be from Italy so why try to emulate Bordeaux? I don't get it.

  3. This video speak to me about how certain region make consistently great wine, while others are more "up and coming". I think you gave almost all the wines 90+ in your Tuscany videos. It seems like certain regions produce consistently excellent wines!

  4. A 91 Cabernet Sauvignon for $19. What's so special about that? Seriously is Cab so magnificent that we expect higher? In the late 80's and early 90's the wine world was awash with Cabernet Sauvignon which was a byword for cheap – I'm not joking. Prices in the wine world are all over the place right now. A huge discrepancy with local prices and international markets. A lot of wine is being produced for big pockets too which is all about status and nothing to do with quality.
