During the pandemic we bought a very run down village house in Puglia, Italy. We’ve spent the last 2 years renovating the property and 1 year documenting the journey on YouTube. This is a time lapse of that year of renovating here in Italy.

There is a previous video with images from the first year if you’re interested in seeing the first year. Sadly at that point we didn’t have our YouTube channel so only photo content was included in that video.

I hope you will enjoy seeing all the hard work and love we have put into this project.

  1. Well done, I love your backyard. Didnt see the little splashpool at the end of the video, do you still have it? Give yourselves a huge pat on the back for a job exceptionally well done!! Watched closely how you made your dining tables – so unique and they blend in so well with the rest of the house and garden. Cant wait to see more……..

  2. Such a delight to watch on a miserable grey cold Melbourne day … you guys are living the dream .. a dream that takes hard graft 😂 those dogs could work harder 😊

  5. if they like it ok. way too much sand mixture furniture. this would give me a nightmare. zoning and placement isnt always well placed for its area.

  6. Nice work! As someone who renovated a run-down cave house in Andalusia alone, I know how much hard work this is. Especially when you have day-to-day living to take care of as well and learning how to cope in a new country. The second year is easier and you can take time to add personal finishing touches.

  7. Best thing about accomplishments is when you have someone with the same energy of ‘not giving up’ doing it with you. Best feeling.

  8. My favorite is the puppy pool. I mean everything is beautiful, but come on, a puppy pool!!!

  9. Amazing! The art work (painting on wall and bed frame ) is delightful! Very talented. You have put a lot of hard work into this home and you have done an excellent job! Your editing/ filming is very skilled too. When you transitioned from the grape vines to the sea flowers, I literally gasped! ( time stamp 12: 21-13:30) All that texture in nature-wow! Oooooh now I want an outdoor kitchen. Since you are used to the heat, can you please come to AZ and help me?

  10. Excellent although are you using Lime Mortar to let the walls breath? If just cement you will have damp problems.

Complimenti state facendo un bellissimo lavoro

  12. Wow, the art, the planning, the work, the commitment, interior and exterior design…just stunning and so inspirational. Just subscribed and looking forward to seeing more ❤
