While tromboncino is becoming increasingly more popular amongst the at home gardener and homesteader, it can be a bit intimidating to figure out what to do with all that squash. This Italian zucchini bake recipe is the perfect use for the tromboncino squash or your average zucchini.
Ingredients:
3 cups shredded zucchini
3 large eggs
1 1/3 cups Parmesan cheese, divided
12 oz shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
salt and pepper to taste
16 oz ricotta cheese
1 pound ground beef
24 oz pasta sauce

This is awesome and I can see for me low carb. I have shredded zucchini in the freezer wondering what to use it instead of bread. This is perfect and I could get several meals out of this. I found an 18-quart roaster full of frozen tomatoes last evening I have them in the roster cooking down so I can make your pasta sauce. I want to pressure can it though my big all-American holds 32 pints and I want to can it in that. I also want to try keeping down the salt and sugar for the sauce, I am putting frozen onions and peppers in it I found in the freezer.

I have a similar go-to recipe that uses pasta, cheese, sauce, cheese. The middle cheese layer is cream cheese & sour cream. My crew don't like sour cream so I use 3 big dollops of salad dressing (like Miracle Whip). And Colby jack on the top. I love this idea with zucchini/trombocino. If it's soft enough I can eat it lol. Never ever seen or heard of trombocino til just now, though. One of the reasons I love your channel. ♥️🙏
