  1. No disrespect to these professionals – but irrespective of their assessments, the taste buds like what they like. So I’m the end, you will buy even the lowest rating sauce – because you just like it. Nothing wrong with that. Each to his own.

  2. I usually make my own sauce, but sometimes I'm too hungry. I googled 'best jarred pasta sauce' & everything said Rao's. I thought it was awful. Then just last week, I thought I'd try a brand we have here in Canada: Neal Bros. Organic. AMAZING. I'll still make my own for the most part, but when I need a jarred sauce, that's what I'll buy.

  3. this is, as usual, a terrible idea. This should've be done blind where the sauce is served in an unmarked container so there's less bias. Revealed after the smell and taste test.

  4. Would have preferred each chef judge separately, them being grouped together will inevitably influence their commentary. Plus I wanted to see if they had a common consensus. Also blind taste test would've also been more interesting.

  5. Except for the intrusive music slams every few seconds, a rare delight to watch. I see a lot of "cooking" shows, but I rarely see people who know food and know how to taste food providing honest opinions. This is a very useful video. As for the music, tone it down; this is utube, not Hollywood!

  6. Only thing trying harder than ragu is the person doing the transition music. Just felt off base, great content though. Just distracting overly serious music with the same motif over and over

  7. Missed out on Victoria. Rao's was my standby until I tried Victoria. It's the only thing close to tasting like a non-jarred sauce.

  8. this video is more about Italian-American cuisine, which is heavy on tomatoes, rather than Italian. tomato is very present in Southern Italian cuisine, but it's more rare in traditional dishes north of Naples.

  9. Meh, as a professional chef with over 25 years experience I think these 3 are a bit pretentious.
