And a suggestion for that not-yet-built bridge city: "Ponteburg". "Ponte" means "bridge" in italian and "burg" means "castle" in german. So when that kingdom will eventually get itself the castle, name Ponteburg will be quite accurate ;)) and it just sounds awesome

i'm not at all fluent, so take this with a massive grain of salt, but i think a more natural name for the Japanese area would be Akagawa (赤川). to get in the weeds a bit, Japanese place names are almost always written with just kanji, or Chinese characters, as opposed to hiragana, which are exclusive to Japanese and are used to write things out phonetically, typically for conjugations and such. Akai (赤い) does mean red, but you wouldn't really see it in a place name like that. Kawa becomes Gawa because of sound changes that occur when it's up against another word.
