   It would seem logical that the "situational awareness" of a sophisticated FSD platform will vastly outperform a human operator/driver such that accident avoidance will be unparalleled and soon force NHSTA to acknowledge the lives that will be saved in approving the FSD platform. I'm guessing that Tesla accident avoidance stats are already better than average human operator performance. There is already a movement that governments will require all new cars to have electronic emergency assistant braking capabilities. I'm thinking Tesla auto insurance must have an advantage cost-wise since it is already experiencing few accidents than their competitors.

   It surprises me why everybody gets really worked up about recession and inflation data. Inflation has always existed, and people have been using investments to beat the inflation. The stock market return, for example, always beats inflation. I heard of someone who invested $121k last October, and has grown the portfolio by more than $400k. I need recommendations that can give me similar return.

    2 months ago (March/April) it was scary when I used FSD. With the latest download of FSD I was amazed how good it is. Believe Elon maybe right about 2023 being the year of full self driving.

    Because of Tesla's "ready, fire, aim" way of doing things we can expect FSD capabilities to scale similarly to 4680 battery production. For example, Tesla recently celebrated making 10 million 4680 batteries at gigafactory Texas. This milestone only equates to about 12,000 cars and 2 GWH/Year, seemingly insignificant. However, they still made 10 million batteries more than any other Western carmaker, and advanced the maturity of their battery manufacturing towards dry battery electrodes (and eventually silicon anodes). These advancements will quietly help accelerate the production rates, quality, energy density, and cost efficiency of their 4680 batteries. Project Dojo scaling back end server processing capabilities by an order of magnitude (e.g., 10X) this year and another order of magnitude next year, per Elon Musk (and supported by chip industry upgrade cycles), along with forthcoming fully AI software stack (FSD Beta release 12) will similarly accelerate the capabilities of FSD. We can also expect to see humanoid robots doing useful (but very simple) tasks on the gigafactory floor sooner rather than later. Tesla will likely start using them immediately once a minimum viable product is achieved, and iterate improvements as they scale production from that point. I would not be surprised if this is happening already. Tesla does the hard things first, usually very quietly, and then capitalize on the many opportunities made easier and more accessible by.doing the hard things.

    Hey Steven, I watched the Cybertruck unveiling in November 2019, and I waited 2 days to put in an order, and I'm in position number 118.000 on that one. I since then, I have ordered 8 more. I have a construction company, and want to give one to each of my foremen, so they don't have to pull a trailer around with a compressor, and generator, as those 2 things are incorporated into the Cybertruck.

    I was at 225,000 on the Cybertruck orders but switched to a model Y cause I m getting older. I so regret cancelling my order wtf was I thinking😢

    13:05 Mr Gerber has lost all credibility, and I had thought he was one of the few fund managers that grokked Tesla. He states that 'just in the last 30 days since EM returned to Tesla, the entire world signed up to Tesla charging infrastructure…' thus implying that the (pending) near-universal adoption of Tesla NACS as standard was due to EM farming out some of his responsibility in the last month. Tesla NACS plugs & chargers have been Tesla standard for years. Legacy OEM's agreeing to adopt Tesla NACS charging hardware/protocol happened in a month, yes, agreed. But the groundwork was years in the making. Attributing this dramatic & important adoption of Tesla technology to EM getting a new CEO for Twitter is ridiculous! Tesla has been positioning itself to become the dominant electric power arbitrager of the world for years. This was not a plan conceived and hatched in the last few weeks! The NACS hardware/protocol is only a part of that strategy. Add in solar roof, power wall, mega-pacs, combo grid-to-battery/battery-to-grid chargers and ask yourself: did this happen in the last few months? I've been (nearly) all-in on TSLA for years; I held my TSLA thru 2022, seeing it lose 2/3 of its value. But I've no regrets. TSLA will be the largest company (by marked cap) in the world, maybe by 2030. But certainly eventually.

    Think! It now does 98% of Model Y driving for me with little to no intervention needed. The progress is seriously staggering and trust me when I say I put it through its paces.

    always hated that pie analogy because a pie doesn't naturally "grow" but if you imagine it as multiple baloons inside one another and how they inflate/deflate you can really grasp the whole concept better, at least my students do so if you look at the whoe auto market as the biggest baloon it's fairly consistant in size and only declines slightly lately, the ev baloon within tho is inflating at a massive rate deflating the outest shell but keeping the overall size intact (means, evs take ice sales rapidly) and within that ev baloon you got the tesla baloon still inflating but not faster than the ev baloon is inflating so teslas inflation rate only accelerates the whole ev inflation rate further, which in turn speeds up the auto deflation rate even more
