    That's interesting that having a 'build your own' / pick your own menu doesn't seem to work over there but, it works over in the U.S.

    I see nothing wrong w/ trying to create your own curry. However, I will concede that perhaps there shouldn't be an endless list of choices.

  3. Bloke should open an italian meatball sub van and park up outside the local rugby ground. Get the two nice waitresses to work for him. He'd make a flippin' fortune!

    Her, on the other hand… Flippin' 'eck… The moment she said "don't try and be reasonable!" to her fella, I had a ptsd flashback to the times I argued with my ex-wife over stupid things, and realised this wasn't about anything other than she was out of her depth, but reacted with utter violence when she made a mistake because she always took it personally.

    Still, I'm glad they got it together- all she needed was for him to feel in control, and all he needed was for her to feel in control.

  4. God I love Gordon. He is impressively honest, down to earth and smart as fuck. I agree with him when he critiques these places and love his straightforward advice. I speak the same way about food and also don’t mince words. So few get it. He is one talented, admirable chef. My hats off to him.

  7. I thought Gordon Ramsay was a chef celebrity who verbally attacked future chefs for the show. I have changed my mind. He is a great guy who really cares about people and wants them to do well.

    Who wants to go to a restaurant where you feel like you went to a friend's house, then got caught in an uncomfortable fight between the husband and wife??

    I was a waitress when I was 14. I would have never left the tables, for any reason, including going to the bathroom, unless I had somebody to watch my tables. And I would only go, once I've checked on all of them one more time.

  10. These people are NOT cut out to be in the customer service business. She NEEDS to STOP SCREAMING!!!!!!!! If she doesn't have enough common sense to realize that behaviour is UNACCEPTABLE, or doesn't care, there is no hope!!!!! Yelling at, and kicking out customers because they had the GALL to swear once after getting no food for hours. No WONDER nobody wants to go there. They are lucky they've gotten the amount of business that they have. And they're STILL screaming at, and kicking out customers! I mean, if the guy was completely unruly and screaming, that would be one thing, but he wasn't. He was frustrated, rightfully so.

  11. I can't stand people who immediately start to scream the second they get upset, or have a problem.. Are you a little child?? HOW will screaming resolve ANYTHING??

  12. Meet with your ENTIRE team, Raj. Every group affects every other group. That's why you MUST meet together. Otherwise, it's too easy for front staff to just blame issues on the kitchen. With them present, you find out why they do things a certain way. You can't resolve issues with only half a team.

  13. Maybe I missed it, but I was kind of surprised that they didn't have samples that they were handing out to people, when they had the Bollywood dancers there. The dance and the speaker horn is all nice and good, but the only thing that would make me go there, is if I try to sample I really liked it (especially since Gordon is pushing the restaurant, which means it has to be on Kitchen Nightmares– not a good sign). I didn't see them giving out any.

  14. When I get a Chinese food combo, I've asked if I can substitute. But if the answer is no, it's no big deal.

  15. While I think those bread antlers are bizarre, it's HIS business. Also, if I was the customer when Gordon took it off my table, I'd be pretty pissed off. I wouldn't want my bread order in 5 or 10 minutes, I would want it with the food I was eating right now.

  16. Honestly working in food is so stressful some days you just need a good outlet for it. I remember letting employees throw bad onions or tomato’s at the building at the end of the night when it was rough, only thing I asked is they cleaned up after and don’t aim anywhere near the windows lmfao

  17. The first person they show as a customer at the curry restaurant looks exactly like Karen from the previous episode!😂
