Whenever I visit the Burg, I always go to Gettysburg Eddies. I would highly recommend their Philly Cheesesteak!!

Nice place, Great menu except for the Mexican food. Tacos turn me off. I would never eat here the prices are outrageous. I live in Pennsylvania and the prices of our food at our restaurants in my area are half that price. We go to a great place that has delicious food and my dinner was only $10.95 and it included a salad and two vegetables. I don't know what's going on but it seems like some of these areas are charging ridiculous prices for food. I will not pay double the price to go out to eat. Thanks for showing us and sorry for the negativity. 👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸🌹
I love Gettysburg Eddie's! All the items on menu would be hard to decide!!! John the firecracker shrimp tacos were amazing! Very hot sounds like. But with the sour cream cooled it off a little bit!!! And Bobbie I loved the Crabby Chicken dinner! The crab dip and cheese yummy. Pasta salad instead of a regular salad plus the baked potato. The ginger cake was nice too. Nice area there. Glad you both went to Eddie Plank's grave. I now recognize his name. Played in the early 1900's with Ty Cobb later with Babe Ruth in his early career in the 1910's. I remember my father talking about him being the best left handed pitcher. Babe Ruth was a pitcher for White Sox in the teens then became the best homerun hitter in the 1920's for the Yankees. Then Henry Aaron broke his record of most home runs in 1974. I grew up watching baseball, basketball. My favorite is Tennis right now. Love that covered bridge! We have them here in Indiana too!!!
I have been eating a lot of snow crab legs in the past 3 months, my local food store has had them on sale for $8.95 a pound. I have been buying 2 lb a week which comes to about $18. I will not go out to eat and pay $30 or $40 or $50 for seafood unless it's an all-you-can-eat seafood buffet in Myrtle Beach. Which also gives you all-you-can-eat prime rib and steaks and everything. When we go to Ocean City Maryland we get all-you-can-eat crab on the buffets. We eat plate loads of it.

Crab Mushroom Chicken—fantastic!
We always start our summer vacation in Saugatuck with dinner at The Butler. We love the view of the Marina. This year we decided to get an entree and decided on the Crab Mushroom Chicken. It was so delicious that I kept thinking of it all week. Fresh crab and sauteed mushrooms on top of a baked chicken breast, covered in monterrey jack cheese. Yum! We even went back on the last day of vacation to try their Crab Stuffed Mushrooms, they were the best we have ever had. Just thinking about the meals we had there makes me wanna go back!

I had to look up how/why Eddie died at such a young age (50). He suffered a stroke Feb. 22, 1926, two days later he was gone. Shame.

I am still mad Randy Johnson (#5 Lefty all-time) overtook Roger Clemens (Rocket) (# 8 Righty of all-time) in overall active pitcher wins back in the early 2000s when they were both still at the top of their game! I love the memorabilia at Eddie's! I think the meal is a little pricey but they give you a good amount and it looks fresh. I am very glad you enjoyed another visit to the restaurant. Happy Belated Father's Day John!
