Besides the kiosk ordering for multiple menus, what is the difference between a "food hall" and a "food court?"
The Fat Sal's sandwich is great ( The Stand Alone One in Los Angeles )!!!! It is a lot to eat for even the craziest savage like me ( 6 Foot 3 Inch 235 pounds )
If you go to Fat Sal's and don't order a Fat Sal ….. Waste of time and money folks ……. Like going to McDonald's and ordering a grilled cheese ……

Looking at all of the people sitting at tables — so few have food and are actually eating! Is everyone just waiting for their food or are they just socializing or resting? Does not look enjoyable or profitable.

What a fun place, thing is there are more and more of these stand alone food halls around the area. They get so popular and busy, I've seen a few in Orange County. I love the idea of having such a huge variety of independent for the most part food stalls to try, rather than the common chain places which often aren't the greatest. It's a treat, and all you have to do is not go on the weekend, lol.
And can we mention Catherine dropping all that restaurant knowledge like a boss.

The older I get the more I prefer quieter, less chaotic places. Food Halls in general would not pike my interest much. But it was nice to see both of you do the video review!
It was more interesting watching them build it. I’m not impressed. Younger folks seem to like that kind of expensive chaos.

WOW, my wife and I are BIG fans and I'm sure that you have heard that a zillion time.
Anyways you were less than 5 miles from where we live and wished we could have met the both of you there.
BTW we go to the AMC theater every Tuesday for their discount day and see first run movies for around $7.00.

If I want Tongo to a good court-hall, I'll go to Vegas, I avoid these places in My Home town or in ( don't care For LA-orange county courts unless it's in Disneyland).
