  1. how to lose weight = be in a calorie deficit. end of debate. This Guys overcomplicated nonsense is terrifying, He claims eating proper food is how to diet? yes. because it puts you in a deficit… so calories counting does work? after he claims it doesn't work. scary he's a scientist

  2. I like this but some constructive feedback. Less of the minimal encouragers: yep, uh huh, yes … v distracting !! X

  3. yeah..aha..yeah..aha…yeah…aha…that's very interesting…yeah..aha…yeah..aha…interestiiiing…yeah…aha..yeah…aha…right.

  4. As someone who watches Diary of a CEO, I feel like I am just seeing a lot of the same guests cycled through here with nothing additional to offer. Maybe that is the point, but it is starting to feel like a bit of a knock off

  5. This was surprisingly good! I was suspicious it’d be pro-diets but I’m glad to find it wasn’t 🙂

  6. Hi Grace I really enjoy your podcasts. Although I only listen to them here and there. I love the complete diversity of topics and guests, giving me the opportunity to dip my toes in whenever something peaks my interest. It makes me want to learn more! Also thank you for being your imperfect self. Somehow it feels more down to earth that you aren't a super slick interview professional. ❤

  7. Such an interesting discussion!
My twin and I have been in the twin study since birth, it's an incredible study. We love hearing about all the exciting scientific developments, proud to be a tiny part!

  8. I thank almighty GOD that The medications I order from dr imenherbal on YouTube really worked for me without side effects, thank god am cured, good bye to cold sore for ever

  9. Always wary of a scientist that only plugs research that he has done himself, funded through his own business. I'd really love this discussion to be less one-sided. To include some counter-claims or even others who support the same claims. It's like we just have to simply trust his word about the research and science that his organisation has carried out. He raises some interesting points but to simply take it all without question or any discussion points from yourself – I think some nuance is lost and you've missed an opportunity to really pull out some deeper thinking.

  10. I love Tim Spector’s work, but I cannot continue to watch this. You sound bored with how many passive “mhmm” and “right…” I really wanted to enjoy this podcast but won’t continue to watch your content is this is how you respond to your guests.

  11. I love how u ended by saying im gona have a banana as a snack after he pretty much said snacking is bad 😂

  12. Love the podcast but oof, I found this pretty triggering and difficult to listen to. I think a lot of people will suffer from authority bias listening to this and some of the recommendations like fasting and stopping snacking could be really detrimental to your relationship with food.

  13. Interesting conversation. I would really like to hear a discussion about intermittent fasting and how it might effect a wider range of topics, not just gut health. There are studies that conclude that fasting for 10+ hours may not be beneficial for female hormonal health for example. I get that ”an averidge overweight and sedentary joe” might benefit from it, but this discussion simply left out all the active people who actually enjoy exercise. Allthough yes the topic was about gut health and public health… but maybe it would have been nice to then emphasize that. (:

  14. I hate when podcasts on this stupid split screen thing, it looks so weird because they’re looking at each other but they’re not

  15. I would like to know more about men vs women in these studies, there are very few studies done on women and we are not the same and often skipping breakfast can cause issues with our hormones. I think it's important to specify the difference here

  16. This has literally blown my mind! So informative, will definitely be sharing this with friends and family

  17. Grace please can you stop with the “yeah, mmhmm, right” after every sentence? It’s so irritating to listen to.
