There’s nothing more meaningful than to eat at Romdeng on Christmas Eve, even though one of the dishes is the popular Khmer dish crispy tarantulas (yes, you heard me right). Romdeng is one of the six restaurants in Southeast Asia owned by TREE alliance – an organization that reinvests its restaurant profits in training the underprivileged and marginalized youths into excellent back of the house and front of the house staff in the hospitality industry. I can’t think of a better day to dine out and support such meaningful cause.
