We having old transit problems, our 24 year old Vinny has an electronic diesel pump,engine light coming on ,loss of power, we gonna get it converted to older style manual pump,dont worry guys you on the non electronic pump version. So we away in my works van,Vauxhall Vivaro….camping. like you in the Focus, all the best.

Just been to Istanbul and it is a madhouse. I have ridden bikes in Bangkok and Hanoi and that place makes them look calm.

Surprised you didn't get to see wild boar when you were in the Forest of Dean.
We rented a car in Caen, France it was probably a Ford and manual transmission but didn’t realize that all the car manual of how to shift was in French until we got on the road. We’re sitting there stalled, reaching for the car manual to change the language. A few cars got backed up behind us but they were patient.
4:00 I know the feeling, my work car is leased and therefore a new one every 3rd year, while my private car is a 2005.
And the difference between those two.. 😂
The smooth and easy climb with the powerful enige and 4wd, compared to the front wheel, keep your speed up, or it dies, but not to much, because then it start spinning.😂
I love my old trusty connect, but I miss electric windows, I miss a more powerful engine and and cruise control would be great..

Hi Sarah Nick ,what a great E bike you looked as if you was enjoying yourself Sarah the smile on your face said it all ,I’m pleased you are looking round for another van poor OLD VINNIE it’s about time he retired gracefully don’t think i would like to have to keep going at his is age let him rest for the rest of his time ,he has already cost you a fortune lol the hand brake goes of automatically as you put you foot on the accelator the hand brake will go of and when you park up it comes on see you are out of date with modern vehicles Nick this is a great blog lots of laughs as well , that’s a big reservoir but low on water,the UK 🇬🇧 is also low on water we will so be on a hose pipe ban as the canals are already low on water the narrowboat owners are All ready complaining you pay a lot of money to be on the canals but can’t go where you want to ,not good the wold is changing so much all the floods in Europe is terrible,great blog great car now you are getting used to ,till next time take care keep safe look after that car lol ,John

I have an old van like you guys…similar problems. I am looking to upgrade too. I hired a Hybrid and had the upgrade…it was so hard to go back to my van after that. I think a hybrid all wheel van would be ahmazing!!

Keep vinny there is nothing that can go wrong with it that can’t be fixed.the only thing that kills those old transits is rust and yours is pretty clean.i have two mk3 transits with the 2.5di and you wouldn’t catch me driving anything newer they are bulletproof.if you do buy a newer van with all the sensors and electronics they have now you will soon be wishing you kept vinny.

Yes we had a old 24 year old hi ace camper van and it started to need replacing all its bits and bobs and we could not find much of those parts in scrap yards as no one has them these days, was getting more and more costly to fix so we jumped ship and sold it to a handy mechanical minded fella and we bought a caravan then.
