I’m born in America and my roots stretch back to Italy.
In English the term is 'party pooper' – it means the one who doesn't get into the mood of the party, or doesn't go to the party. Sounds like you are burdened with being sensible Sara.

The second property looked well set out and lived in considering it was built illegally, is it possible to get the building passed even if it means paying a penalty charge or some such requirement.

Thanks for your post. I've been looking for properties in Italy for the past 10 months. I drove up and down Italy last summer (not including Sicily) to determine and area that I would like. It takes a lot of patience. How does negotiations work in Italy? Asking prices seem a little random.

If Luca wasn't a geometra, I would urge you not to buy a ruin anywhere in Italy! The whole process is not for people like me who have access to beautiful properties right here in the US for far less money, and that are oftentimes "unrestricted". I do own property in Italy, but I'm letting it rot, or so to speak. I've lost money and pulled my hair out with the Italian system. Not worth it! However, I do have to say that I've considered putting a tiny house on wheels on my property over there, since the regulations for these types of vehicles are far less restrictive (at least in Le Marche where i own land near the sea).
Why are you watching for properties with to much ground and to high prices wich you can't buy anyway?

Most kids Luces age are using their hands. Her dexterity is very good too. It shows the time you spend with her, nurturing her. She is so darn cute ❤️
