Europe (especially Italy) is usually hot in June. But climate change is real. ๐ฅฒ Youโve chosen a nice variety of garments. Iโm always very cold on long international flights. Iโve been to Italy several times – take the silk top. Itโs very sophisticated and European.
It's all very nice… But i think you'll regret not taking some easy to wash and dry capris, most def yoga pants long & capri length and a akort…. All with pockets.
You aren't going to just relax and go rouge sitting at a cafe or on a balcony??? I guess you can buy something there. I toke a pair of what i like to call capris the fabric is like a parachute cloth. Very light, very washable, dries fast, and has multiple pockets like cargo pants. I threw then in the suitcase last minute. And wore them the most.

I haven't commented for some time—while you are getting ready for your fabulous and exciting trip to Italy, I am getting ready for my right knee replacement on the 22nd!! LOL!!
A lot to get done before my surgery date, to make life easier for my dear husband while I am recovering!!
That being said, I would appreciate prayers for my upcoming surgery, (thank you)-and we will be praying for you and yours as always and for your upcoming trip!! Are your parents going as well?? How is your mother doing??
My daughter who had breast cancer diagnosed in September 2017-and then surgery-has recently had some disturbing labs-so I am most humbly asking for prayers for her as well!! Many thanks.
Goodness- I am being exceedingly long winded-LOL! Everything you are taking looks very well thought out, and the silk cropped top-that has got to go with you!! That is beautiful, and would look nice with so many things!! :+) Also, the "Adrienne" must go-that looks so very "European" to me, and also versatile!!
This trip is so exciting, and will be a great experience for your whole family!! Perhaps you could do a little "side-line" video regarding all the ins and out of packing, customs, etc…after your return and have a "rest"!! That would be great!!
Will you be going to Paris at all-or I'm guessing you won't have time…(?) 13 days probably isn't long enough-which means you have to go back to Europe! :+)

You know I wondered if you could just ask the stores to ship your fabric to your home, and pay the extra for that-then you wouldn't have to be concerned regarding room in your luggage-and/or the weight involved(?) Is that an option??

Also, it's recommended to dress like the natives and not like a flashy tourist. For safety reasons and to not be a big target for thieves.
I had to chuckleโฆwhen I wear white or cream shirtsโฆinvariably I get something on them. Even if I did not eat!
You have to bring an extra suitcase (collapsible) just for purchases. You know, things that have to come home with you.
Carefully roll your clothes and you will be amazed at how much you can pack.
Take a light shawl to keep the chill off. Or a nice, large scarf.
Pop a gallon size ziplock in your carry-on and put a pair of undies, a tank top, and a travel toothpaste and toothbrush. Another ziplock with clear nail polish.

Knitting! I usually pack spare bamboo needles in my case just in case the original needles get taken from me. Also I use circular as the points are short. Flying in and out of the States last month there was no problem at all. Enjoy!
