  1. Bought some land and built a house here in Indonesia 2 years ago. I got another 11 months to finish paying off the loan and and i will be debt free. 3 bed, 3 full bath, 3 story house for around $60, 000. And you can buy cheaper here or spend more on a house. I was paying around $200 a month for a 2 bed/2 bath house before that. Food cost are high if you want to eat well and alcohol is expensive but other than that it is super cheap here.

  2. I'm Australian so I'm only interested in the South East Asian countries. Even though Indonesia is our closest neighbour I've never ventured there! I've travelled to Vietnam and Cambodia. Both communist countries where you need visas and TBH I love to visit but wouldn't live in either. My pick is Malaysia. It's very modern but the most expensive of the places I've visited

  3. Aren't these all third world countries? Thats the reason they are cheaper.

  4. Please don't talk shit, what u said Malaysia is so cheap……..maybe 30 yr ago N now please go there and find out by yourself

  5. Indonesia is highly corrupt and the islamic sentiments and exclusions aren't exactly attractive or safe… Most of the Asian nations mentioned are really crappy when it comes to their administrative services… Corruption is rife there… Remember 1mdb? Also Most of these asian countries are very hard to live in because of the cultural and language barriers. However the south american options do seem viable but you Will Have to Learn Spanish and integrate with the locals to actually make it work, if not, just stay in the US

  6. if your someone who doesn't like to live around PEOPLE and want to be off grid. . Non of these places are a cheap option.

  7. Instead of costa rica at #2, i would pick any of the 3 other central american countries: guatemala, honduras or el salvador.

  8. Yea….but whats it cost in these countries currency for them…..12 cents is prolly like 20$ or something in there money

  9. How safe is it to live in Bolivia, Peru, costa rica, Argentina, mexico? We see in the news rise in crime, kidnapping of foreigner's etc🤔

  10. Bali is super expensive and to be honest Indonesia is not that cheap anymore. If u are making ur money in USD yes…but still not that cheap.
