  4. While I can understand his frustration, it is great that the owner Richard can acknowledge his statement about the neighborhood was wrong. Admitting a wrong is already half-way to being forgiven.

  5. Parks Edge had some issues with health inspections after Gordon Ramsay’s visit and the reviews still weren’t great.

    For those reasons, it’s not surprising that Park’s Edge closed in 2013, around a year after the Parks Edge Kitchen Nightmares episode aired on TV.

    As of 2022, the old Park’s Edge Atlanta location is occupied by a new restaurant named Victory Sandwich Bar.

  6. 09:47 – An Italian chef invented the Caesar salad. Yes, he invented it while in Mexico, however that doesn't make it a Mexican dish. Especially considering he was from California.

  7. Trusting someone who just graduated from Culinary School to run a restaurant is a huge red flag. You need to have more experience first to work at restaurant, starts from the bottom and also some knowledge in business with good management.

  10. Richard seems like a good guy. But come on dude…you didn’t know you needed a permit for the tent and no license when serving alcohol???? Come on dude, if people criticized you it’s because you f@$&ed up- nothing to do with race. Unbelievable.

  12. As someone sho worked in one of the most popular restaurants in Oslo, which is fine dining, that attitude about the fried chicken is really annoying me. Even a michelin restaurants serve fried chicken!
