  2. I'm new to cycling so please help me understand, why is it that G didn't try to win back the pink jersey? Is 14 seconds really an impossible amount of time overcome? If so in what sense? For example, is it the stage route that would make it impossible for G to pull 14 seconds on him? Thanks in advance!

  3. No mention of gee winning the super combative prize? Come on gcn, after all that work give the guy a bone in the highlights

  4. G Thomas and Cav are 2 biggest legends of cycling ever! Best Giro in many years!

  5. I suspect Cav was gifted this win as a a gesture from the other riders. Shows what can happen if you stay away from the barriers! 🙂

  6. It looked to me like they all let Cavendish win and I'm fine with that, he is the sprinting GOAT, he's the Ronaldo of Cycling.(that last bit might be a troll)….Looking forward to seeing how Cav does at Le Tour.

  7. Can't help but feel that every other sprinter eased off just a little bit in the end to let Cavendish have his final career win… hmmm….

  8. It was great to see MC given that honourable win.
It was always going to be PR over GT.
    Another fantastic Giro to history

  9. Thomas`s huge dissappointment of Gyro loss only the day before he still managed to congratulate and hug each Jumbo Visma team member straight after and then put all that aside to " in effect " act as a lead out man to Cav ! What an incredible act of sportsmanship and generosity ! The capo di tutti capi of sportsmanship and cameraderie. I`m more than impressed !

  10. Mmm wonder if there was some kind of agreement among the sprinters to send the little fella off with a bang..? Hard to understand that big margin..

  11. A lot of knuckleheads here. Do you all really believe the rest of the teams, with all they invest in a grand tour, would actually agree to let someone win a stage like this? Just remember, the larger the conspiracy, the more unlikely it is to be true.

  12. I believe that Mark is leaving cycling just because of this, because of he is missing victories, missing the happiness of be the best. He was not filling motivated to keep riding after many crashes.

  13. Kudos to Thomas helping out Cav get his 34th win.

We all hope Cav can make history on TDF simply because of the narrow for the sport and if not then he gave it his best shot.

  14. At :07 seeing that Jumbo Visma guy's helmet jiggling when he hit that bump made me feel so much better about by inability to avoid bad bumps while riding. I don't feel like such a noob now.

  15. Shame Gearing Thomas came up short in the end, but seeing him help Cavendish get a great stage win to cap his career was a sweet consolation.

  16. Mark Cavendish reserved the best for last 💪 He came out from the pack flying and a win he really deserves 👏 A race very well organised with a detailed GCN coverage. Congratulations 👍 to
    All 🙏

  17. 3:14 People say that the other sprinters gave Cavendish the win by giving up. I think that they gave up because he blew them out of the water.

  18. Wow ackermann really embraced this "lets allow mark to win the last stage" , with method acting and all, including crashing out, being fined, and also losing UCI points to cover up letting cav win the stage hahaha clowns
