In this video I go over the basic on how to make a higher quality Jimmy John’s Sandwhich alongside their basic vinaigrette.
You will need:
– French Bread Loaf
– Hellman’s Mayo
– Your Choice of Meats
I used ham, Coppa/ Cappocollo, and Hard Salami (you can sub the Coppa for Prosciutto if one’s easier to obtain.)
– Provolone Cheese
– Olive Oil
– Red Wine Vinegar
– Jalapeños
– Shredded Iceberg Lettuce
– Sliced Rona Tomatoes
– Sliced Yellow Onion
– Oregano
– Salt (for the sauce)
– Parchment Paper
Cut the bread and take the guts out.
Dust with oregano.
Slather both sides with Mayo.
Lay down the tomatoes on the flat side of the bread.
Lay down the lettuce on the gutted side of the bread.
Sauce the lettuce.
Lay down the onions on the lettuce.
Lay down the jalapeños on the lettuce.
Stack the meats and cheeses.
Lay down the meat and cheeses.
Fold it up.
Cut it in half if so desired.
Wrap it up nd let it squish for a wee bit.
Cut open / unwrap and enjoy.
