Ho assaggiato il ๐ Ciliegiolo di Dante Wine, chiaramente nel bicchiere di Ziehr, vitigno a bacca nera autoctono della Toscana ma diffuso in molte regioni del centro Italia. Il nome deriva dalle caratteristiche del colore e dell’aroma che richiamano la ciliegia ๐.
E’ impiegato principalmente in blend per donare alcolicitร e morbidezza.
Da subito mi รจ piaciuto il progetto e la filosofica di DanteWine, cantina che punta esclusivamente su monovitigni autoctoni, rinnovando antiche vigne, con l’obiettivo di valorizzare il patrimonio vinicolo italiano, conservando la biodiversitร specifica del territorio. Il tutto nel pieno rispetto della natura ed in equilibrio con l’ambiente: produttivitร limitata, raccolta manuale, affinamento in botti di legno e nessun lievito aggiunto.

๐ Roso rubino intenso.
๐๐ป Sentori di frutti rossi, in particolare di ciliegia, ribes e frutti di bosco, leggermente speziati. Note balsamiche e di legno.

Piacevole morbidezza e tannicitร setosa, con vena acida. Buona persistenza su sentori di liquirizia.

I tried Ciliegiolo from Dante Wine, in Ziehr’s glass, a native Tuscan black grape variety but widespread in many regions of central Italy. The name derives from the characteristics of the color and aroma that recall cherry ๐.
It is mainly used in blends to give alcohol and softness.
I immediately liked the project and the philosophy of DanteWine, winery focuses exclusively on native varietals, renewing ancient vineyards, with the aim of enhancing Italian oenologic heritage, preserving the specific biodiversity of the territory. All in full respect of nature and in balance with the environment: limited productivity, manual harvesting, aging in wooden barrels and no added yeast.

๐ Intense ruby red.
๐๐ป Hints of red fruits, in particular cherry, currant and wild berries, slightly spicy. Balsamic and wood notes.

Pleasant softness and silky tannins, with an acid vein. Good aftertaste on hints of licorice.
