As someone who experienced trauma an early age, I didn’t understand why I feel so close to death ALL the time; but what she said resonates so much. I put myself in dangerous situation mostly sexually, because it is easier to do that than to confront 7yr old me and his pain.
I just love Allysa. She is a fantastic interviewer.

It’s obvious Alyssa has never experienced any sort of major trauma or adversity. She comes across to me as insincere when trying to be sympathetic.
