The black rooster inspired me to revisit the wines from Tuscany, Italy. More specifically Chianti Classico. In this video we are opening a Brolio Chianti Classico 2016 from Barone Ricasoli, a entry level wine from this legendary vineyard.
As I mentioned in the video, I am not a big Sangiovese drinker myself. As I have encountered a lot of uninteresting wines made from this grape. This video is a push for myself to try to step deeper into the water, to hopefully come out with a different view.
With that said, I have had some great wines from both Antinori and Vignamaggio. Also a few Brunello di Montalcino. Not in love with the style. But at least I can differentiate by qualities.
