Hey everyone, welcome to @leescampcooking. Today I cook a meatloaf, a recipe that I learnt in Italy years ago. I have been making it ever since, at every place I’ve worked as a chef, and it was so popular.
I It’s not your average meatloaf. It is simple to put together, and full of flavour. It is moist and reheats wonderfully, and it freezes beautifully. Feel free to double the recipe. I usually double the recipe at work.
Ingredients
500 grams beef mince
500 grams pork mince
3 whole eggs
300 grams soft breadcrumbs
200 grams parmesan cheese
1 cup milk
1/2 or 1 teaspoon salt
black pepper
salami
cheese (any cheese, mozzarella, cheddar)
1 hour in a very hot oven
