  1. For me, it is fork in the right hand and knife in the left hand and it works perfectly, without switching. And I don’t give a damn about pseudo etiquette.

  2. $100 says this whole "cut with the right hand and eat with the left" silliness was originated by somebody who was right handed.

  3. Thank you. But you can’t pick up peas or corn with your fork facing that way.

  4. Thank you. This morning I had a very messy omelet in a restaurant, it kept breaking apart. How could I manage. (I kept pushing items onto the fork with the knife)

  5. The other way is also possible if we practice it. I hold the fork in my right hand, which is my active hand, and knife in my left hand. 😊

  6. I just cut the meat before I eat it😅 I'm 56 and never eaten this way. Not changing now🤷🏾

    Good video❤

  7. Don't ever cross your cutlery, place near each side of the food – knife to the right, fork to the left. Or informal, rest your hands with the cutlery coming into that position. UK. Also don't move the cutlery at all unless it is in the act of eating – you were moving yours as you spoke. Don't hold cutlery above the table or plate – rest them and keep your hands away except when cutting up food and putting it on the fork

  8. Where to hold the fork if you're left handed? As cutting with knife requires more power which we lefties can do only with our left hands.
