Let’s go!!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Rocco, Sabino, great show. You now have a connection to get 3 really cool guests on this channel: Dante Palminteri, Michael Franzese, and Vic Dibitetto. Some food for thought.

Epic podcast 🇮🇹🤘🏼🔥
How you doooooin
Absolutely fantastic show enjoyed it so much amazing!
Thanks a lot for the amazing episode!! I wached yesterday for the first time Bronx Tale (in English of course) and I loved it! I loved every single character in the movie. It was great! Was fasinating to hear the whole back story about the birth of Bronx Tale movie from Chazz Palminteri!! How he started from a real childhood story to then convince the right person to let him play Sonny's character and to write the screenplay! Really inspiring!!! Thanks to Growing Up Italian podcast I'm learning a whale new things about Italian-American culture (I watched tones of episodes already) that as Italian I wasn't aware of. Thanks to this podcast I'm also slowly diging into the history of Italian emigration to America and it's really interesting but really really sad. A gray page of Italian history especialy for south Italy (where I'm from). Italian-American should really be proud of ther haritage and for what they did for that cuntry. I read that they were very disriminated (like many other races) and had to work really really hard to have very little back. Something terrble that my generation probably can't even imagine.
I'm a fun of the podcast and I hope that one day I will come to New York to visit the main Italian spots! Keep it up guys!
Crazy I knew Giunnie. Had a hidden meaning..Pennies smh

Thought they were gonna do over or underrated?
Good, Gahd that fckn intro. You can tell that’s an American Ginny (descended) from Italians idea for sure. That’s what people listen to when they’re “greasin the union” if ya know what I mean.
Nice episode.
Incredible. First full podcast I've watched and really brilliant stuff. Chazz was an incredible guest, and as you said, extremely motivational
Chazz seems so dope! I'm not sure I quite agree with the Christopher Columbus day thing, I'm all for Italian Americans having a day to celebrate, but there's no reason to ignore the terrible things Columbus did. Perhaps it was normal for the time, tho that too is debatable, but nonetheless there's not necessarily much good he did either. Leif Erikson was the first european to discover america and Amerigo Vespucci was the first to chart it. Columbus essentially was just the guy at the right time and place who initiated american colonization, without even intending to. If it wasn't him, it would've been someone else. Even if we choose not to condemn him from today's perspectives, that is still not a reason to celebrate him either, especially also as how insulting it is to indigenous people. Still I'm all for a day to celebrate Italians, it just doesn't have to be through Columbus, or we could just rename the day. Nonetheless, the podcast was great!
Chazz is so inspiring, this episode is a masterpiece! Grazie ragazzi!
