  1. You probably won't read this, but please YES, colonial Netherlands is something I've ways wanted to do but never really felt confident to attempt (yeah ya girl is this down bad), so I really hope we get there

  2. 6:44 you do know that you can right click the diplomat in the top right corner @ludi ? You dont need to go inte the country menu to cancel the diplomat. Just a friendly tip, found the consolidate to template for armies just yesterday, 3000+ of play time later…

  3. Just finished my first Netherlands run a few days ago. Formed it after having the whole Low countries. I changed the give type to build VOC and extra trade power, had about 90% in English Node with colonial nation in Caribbean’s and East N. America.

I had to change back to a monarchy to keep the GB Union, after losing it after my 1st election cause the negative relations. Changed back to republic when I leveled out the relations.

  4. Wait, what do you mean by asking friesland to join you after forming the Netherlands? You can do that? Do you not need to get all your cores before forming the netherlands to avoid your prestige plumetting from uncontested cores because attacking them will bring in Austria?

  5. i just discovered that as the teutonic order if you pick Divine idea them switch to monarchist you keep the divine idea and have acces to aristocratic idea i think you can make a good thing out of this Ludi

  6. Antwerpen fell the moment the frence decided to join the siege. 😂
What did you do to the game, Ludi?

  7. I think the smell of bread is basically the smell of flour cooking. Every time I bake flour to make edible cookie dough, the flour smells just like bread.

  8. I love sieges in eu4, yesterday I played as Saluzzo fort went up to 99% I'm not even kidding 🙂

  9. Ludi, New York’s original name WAS New Amsterdam! The english colonists forces the dutch to join the long island colony or be forced to, so they just said “fine”

  10. 14:56 As a dutchy it couldn't be better pronounced. Are you a native Dutchy?
Btw Flemish will even fuck up that pronounciation due to their 'soft ch/g'

  11. Flanders played a significant role in disseminating Renaissance ideas in the Low Countries and the rest of Northern Europe. The city of Antwerp was a major center of artistic and intellectual activity during the 16th century.

During this period, the arts flourished in Flanders, including painting, sculpture, and architecture. Renowned Flemish artists such as Pieter Bruegel the Elder and Peter Paul Rubens were prominent figures of the Renaissance.

Moreover, Antwerp was a crucial trading center and meeting place for merchants and intellectuals from across Europe. This facilitated the spread of ideas and cultural influences from other European regions, such as Italy, into Flanders.

Overall, it can be said that the Renaissance spread earlier in Flanders and provided a fertile ground for artistic and intellectual development.

  12. How do you get that independence overview in EU4? Never saw that one.

  13. Just like Romanians stealing walets, he is now stealing our likes for future promises

  14. Soo how wrong was i to give out all the monopoly priviledges at the start of the game especially in trade countries to get this mercantilism rolling asap?

  15. I think you are jumping campaign over the campaign. Please let us digest a couple of them 🙂

  16. Great video, would love to see the 2nd part! Can't you ask for support independence only when you have over 50% liberty desire though? I tried Holland recently but they had low liberty desire and after few years I gave up.

  17. Average ludi video complaining about slow siege when the enemy navy is giving a -2 to the roll that he could easily stomp.

  18. 15:30 are you amarican because then i can get why you don't now how bread smels but if you are from europe you need th have smelled freshly backed bread before.

  19. Time to enrich the native american and south african culture with some dutch geno… tolerance

    6. Can you make EUIV Bulgaria video?

  20. If you do the second part, please show the devving sessions. Also, show us the Development of your main provinces

  21. Most inreeesting video from domunation dlc in my opinion, pls make part II

  22. Bread definitely smells. Buy one soon after it is made at a bakery. It smells so good while it's still warm 🍞.
