From Website: Inspired by childhood travels throughout Europe, the Lytton Family’s love of rolling vineyards across the Italian, French and Austrian countryside eventually brought them to Temecula Valley where they could create a winery destination of their own. Their dreams came to fruition in 2013 when they recognized the potential in a hilltop winery surrounded by endless views and sprawling vines. They purchased the property in 2014 and renamed it Avensole, a combination of “avventura,” Italian for adventure, and “sole” meaning one of a kind.

With a new name as unique as the property itself, the Lytton’s vision for meaningful experience, discovery and adventure began to take shape. The property was reimagined with a new, updated tasting room, restaurant and wedding venue centered around a tranquil pond and manicured pathways. The vision was to incorporate design elements that preserve the historic roots of the winery and vineyard while creating a welcoming, modern day hospitality inside and out.

Today, the Lytton Family welcomes guests from far and wide to experience Avensole Winery’s line up of award-winning wines, enjoy ever-evolving culinary fare at their hilltop restaurant, and celebrate their special day at one of the most picturesque spots in the valley.
