HOLY COW!!! Just discovered this gold nuggets tonight. The bald Maitre ‘d with the heavy German accent and facial quirks was my late grandfather, actor/voice-over artist and comic DAVE BARRY (not the writer & columnist, the original actor & Comedian who started his career with Major Bowes in 1935). This is such a cool commercial that was made I believe around 1965. If you check out his IMDb profile, you will see that he did over 50+ cartoon voices (including every instance of Humphrey Bogart with Mel Blanc in numerous Warner Brothers cartoons), + a big role in Billy Wilder's "Some Like It Hot" as Bienstock (manager of the all girl band) and opened for Wayne Newton for over 10 years in Vegas at the beginning and pinnacle of Wayne's career. He also opened for Judy Garland, Sammy Davis Jr, and many more. THANK YOU for posting this – my Papa Dave was one of a kind amazing
