Part one of our incredible trip to Tuscany Italy for our best friends wedding.
This was also Romes first holiday abroad and he was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. We are so proud of him!
We flew in to Pisa and had to drive 2 hours to get to Barga/Tuscany. I do not recommend hiring a car if you don’t have any experience driving on the other side of the road because omg it was horrendous as you can see me and Luke arguing lol. The car was scratched, bumped and had the big Mercedes badge on the front of the car robbed when we went to a local supermarket. If we ever go to Italy again we will be getting transfers to and from to airport and taxis to go out and about.
When we finally got to the hotel we was knackered so we had some food and went for a walk around the grounds as Rome slept most the way in the car so had a lot of energy to burn.
The next day the girls went into Florence and the boys went to the bride and grooms villa. Rome played in the pool while all the lads played football and cards. The lads then decided to go on a bar crawl with my two year old lol. They arrived back at the hotel 12.30am and Rome had the best time and went straight to sleep.
The 3rd day we chilled by the pool and got ready for the evening as it was the rehearsal dinner where shaun and dev hired out a beautiful restaurant called “wine not” for food and drinks. They even hired a saxophonist for the night which gave it such a good vibe. We ended the night with shaun coming back to our hotel to stay the night as the wedding was the next day.
Part 2 will be the wedding day and the rest of our holiday.
