How to make Italian Chopped Salad – Lettuce, Salami, Tomatoes, Olives, and Cheese
Ingredients:
– Romaine lettuce, chopped
– Radicchio, chopped
– Red onion, chopped
– Tomatoes, chopped
– Salami, diced
– Provolone cheese, diced
– Garbanzo beans
– Kalamata olives, pitted & halved
– Red wine vinegar
– Oregano
– Olive oil
– Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, combine the chopped romaine lettuce, radicchio, red onion, tomatoes, salami, and provolone cheese.
2. Add the garbanzo beans and kalamata olives, and toss to combine.
3. In a small bowl, whisk together the red wine vinegar, oregano, olive oil, salt and pepper.
4. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss to combine.
5. Serve immediately.
