Have you ever wondered what it would be like to visit a local home in a foreign country? I have! On our trip to Rome, Italy 🇮🇹 we have the opportunity to not only visit a local home but to have dinner and a party!
Some friends told us about the app “Eat With”. This app allows you to connect with and schedule a time to visit and dine with locals from all around the world. This is our first time to do this so please join us for this unique adventure at “Barbara’s House”.
Our visit starts on a rainy evening in Rome. We are gong to the Trastevere neighborhood in Rome. This area is well known for it’s restaurants and the Spanish Steps are very near.
This adventure was one of the most memorable of our trip to Italy. Barbara hosted us and another couple from Florida. She also had several of her local friends and family at the meal. It was a memorable evening and a special Birthday memory for Mrs. Karnes. Barbara knew it was her birthday and went out of her way to make it a special celebration complete with party favors, hats, cake, ice cream and even special gifts! It was certainly an unforgettable night!
