This film just sums up what fishing is all about, especially the wonder of the young Italian boy who was mesmerised by the carp as Alan explained all about it, its how I started carp fishing watching the older boys catching upper doubles & twenties when I was 10 & how my son got so interested in fishing……..another brilliant film by Alan, Roberto, Richard & the Nash team, great soundtrack & sublime editing – well done all!

I watch a lot but I have a rig I used that I still see no one uses. I know it’s absolutely formidable and has caught me fish to just under 50lbs I reckon you guys could use it

Great video with a sad but lovely ending. It's taken me sixty wasted years , remember split cane rods , to get into fishing but now I cannot get enough of it. Alan is clearly a star and I just hope he and his Nash team get into schools to inform youngsters just how enjoyable our sport is. And our Italian friends prove just how " cool " it is to fish as well.
