  7. The steamed rice flour cakes are called 'Idli'.. you dip them either in the coconut chutney or in the sambhar.. or both as you did.. my personal favourite is the coconut chutney 💜

  10. I do hope that you did take your wife, the video was very different than most. I loved it and will be following all of the recipes that you show on your blog. am sure that with spices we can come to the middle when adding them. My Husband used to sweat mentioning them, but I love the spice.

  14. Oh Joel, you missed out! The real Goan food is out there in the umpteen seafood stalls and eateries peppered across Goa. Fish fry, Fenny, Bebinca…the quintessential Goan experience!

    This Elite Havens' villa has so beautiful design, I loved the soothing light colors of the furniture and these green doors, I totally agree about these handmade ornate pieces of art are truly captivating. ❤️
    The herbs and vegetables in the villa garden are amazing.. Chef Joel, you were in heaven.
    I wish I could taste this potato burger and this Indian rice pudding is really like what we cook in Egypt, it's vermicelli with milk, lots of sugar, cream and butter, … it's delicious..
    I loved this camera shot, It made me feel friendly and welcome with these pure smiley faces..
    I really felt that your experience there would be unforgettable..!!
