Renovating in Tuscany: Surviving Month One, Opening Spaces and Adding Drama

Welcome back to our Tuscany Renovation! Can you believe it’s already been a month since we moved into the villa? We’ve got a lot to show you this week and we’re thrilled to have you here with us.

First, join us on a tour of the garage before work began and see all the clutter that filled it before we purchased the villa. We’ve totally transformed it by opening three of the exterior windows that were there the entire time. Then, come with us on a visit we had at Aparatis studios in Los Angeles, where we found some great inspiration for our renovation project.

We’re also excited to show you how we’re opening up our soon-to-be kitchen with three beautiful arches, letting in more natural light and creating a more spacious feel in the room.

Last but not least, discover some of the inherited treasures left behind in our upstairs living room by the previous owner. From a dining table to large credenzas, there is quite a lot. Should we incorporate them into our design or find them a new home?
