Welcome back 😎
Jab jab right hook till I die
Hi Gary I have a question. I'm confused about making wine sweeter and also aging it. I only recently started learning about wine so I'm unsure. I heard I can make wine sweeter by stopping fermentation earlier by adding alcohol or changing temperature. I want sweeter wine because I prefer it over dry taste. But then people also say you can age some wines to make it softer or whatever. So can I stop fermentation to make it sweeter and age that wine as well? And can all that be done with Rosé too?
Love the Wine Library throwback! Keep them coming.
Anun is on my list now, will be looking out for it
This was surprisingly interesting to watch, of course it'd becuse I'm a Gary Vee fan but I felt I got a bit of an education on wine of which I know very little about, also it was fun watching Gary spit into a bucket. 😂
"La Mar" from Terras Gauda is my favorite white wine and it's about 23€
Amazing 🤩 0:07
this makes me happy
You should sell some champagne and caviar perhaps?
Fantastic video as always my friend. Love seeing you doing these throwback wine vids. Only critique, go back to a camcorder, or at least keep everything in focus. I think the labels need to stay in focus the entire time. But I know that's been the trend for years to get this "cinematic" look and narrow DOF. We're videographers not filmmakers 😉 Videos like this don't need that.
On to the wines. Oyster Bay – disappointed in this effort. Such an iconic winery, but I really haven't had it in a long time because it does have this meh feel to it. Santa Margherita – Agree. I think I must have had the 2018 in a blind because I nailed it and it was sooo classic PG. But it's a brand that totally rides on its past. Anaba – not familiar with it. Sounds like a solid Cali Chard. Sounds like it's a New World style Burgundian as I didn't hear too much ML or Oak descriptors. Anun – Also not familiar with it. So excited to find it and try it. Chilean Cabs are a favorite. Sounds like it's got that touch of pyrazine, but not over the top like some Chileans can have (though I kinda like that).
Now, I may be completely wrong, but I'm just gonna say you gave me a subtle shoutout with the clock in the background at 1:37 PM for the entire video referring to my old channel name 1337 Wine ;). Check out my current stuff – just finished some Chilean Sauv Blancs and did a bunch of Cabs at the end of last year. Right now Swiss cheese (gruyère) and wine, then Uruguay. I think you'll like what I've been doing and check out my Texas wine documentary that's also on the channel. And get yourself down to SA so we can do a video together!
Oh, and where's the Jets spit helmet?!
Test
🐐💩
dayum, i love good wines so much
Haters will be like – Stay on your lane business boy😂😂😂😂😂
Jk.
The anaba Chardonnay is fifty percent off at wine library!
So good to see the show return, "whether they like it…. or NOT"
Glad you called out Oyster Bay, Gary. Other lesser known NZ wineries produce much better sauvignon blanc.
