In Indian dishes and vegetarian cuisine, jackfruit really is a good substitute for meat. Doesn't taste quite the same, but with the way it's incorporated in dishes, it's a good alternative. I once mistook it for meat actually.
Religions 💀
Vegetarians are hilarious, meat is so good that they'll do everything in their power to incorporate it into their vegetarian dishes without having to actually use real meat. It's like abstaining from sex only to use a sex doll everytime you get horny.
