Welcome to Tuscan Grille, a specialty restaurant on the Celebrity SUMMIT cruise ship. Tuscan Grille is an Italian restaurant that has something for everybody, from the appetizers to dessert. We have eaten at Tuscan Grille many, many times and this time was different.
Tip- try to book online before you cruise because they often have pre-cruise specials and you can save as much as 40% off the cover charge price.
Jon and I have been on over 80 cruises and over the last few years, over 30 of those have been on Celebrity Cruise ships. I so appreciate your style and direct point of view with all the various cruise videos. My last time at Tuscan Grill was on the Equinox as well and totally scrumptious. And it was also a lovely venue for the Elite Tea as well. Since I always stay in the Retreat I’ll probably stick to Luminae. Cheers and happy cruising 🚢😊🥂
Your open and honest review of the Tuscan Grill was much appreciated. I have booked Tuscan on the Equinox in March and was wondering if I might book on the Summit next month. I’ll skip that and stick with the MDR or the buffet.
Is Gratuity still charged if you prepay it?
as a vegetarian is the eggplant parmigiana big enough for a main course? I turn 50 on summit next summer and want a cool dinner.
We tend to always eat in the Tuscan Grille each time we sail on Celebrity. We have had each of the dishes you have eaten during this video and found them to be very good on the other ships but the Kalamata Bruschetta looks entirely and completely different on your cruise. I tend to agree with you on that one and would not order this. Although I know each ship's chef has his own interpretation of the dishes, I definitely will not order the bruschetta (although my order on another ship was absolutely delicious and you could actually see the chopped up kalamata olives brimming atop the bread with no unidentified red squares (watermelon?) or green (???peppers) on our upcoming Reflection cruise. Thanks for the heads up and the quick review.
Joyce& Jon, thanks for very honest review Tuscan used to be $45 a piece pre covid. So with the price increase I would Expect a very good meal. Joyce your salad looked fabulous

When you are accustomed to a consistent excellence of food, you really sense it when it's a little off. Like Jon said; it could be a temporary thing, or the chef just has a different vibe going on in this kitchen. Maybe next time you will be delighted and surprised…. everything is possible.😉
