See the breakfast options on a Cunard cruise, including room service menus and what the buffet & main dining room food were like. These were from our June 2022 Transatlantic cruise aboard the Queen Mary 2 ocean liner.
Overall we thought the breakfast food quality was excellent at both the King’s Court buffet & the Brittania main dining room restaurant. There were many gluten-free options as well. The omelet was the best we’ve had on a cruise ship!

Good comments. Kippers need to be doused in hot water to alleviate saltiness & liven flavour.
The ship is getting old… Just came back from 16 days Cunard. It degraded a lot. food quality and quantity BAD. especially at the Lido. Super short handed. It is at the Carnival cruise style. No dance host, no queens room Hostess, no professional dancer exhibition, etc. will not recommand for this price ( we are diamond on Cunard, not a newbe)

I never manage to get my poached eggs as good as that shown in the Eggs Benedict breakfast. What's the secret? The Cunard breakfasts are the main reason why I would consider sailing to America! The most exciting sea crossing I've experienced was the car ferry from Ostend to Dover. However, the freshly prepared Belgian french fries on board were really good. I say "were", because the ferry service out of Ostend ceased years ago.
Which cruise lines, if any, do fresh made-on-the-spot waffles/pancakes for breakfast? (At a buffet)
Those poached eggs looked absolutely perfect. Also I love Kippers and smoked Haddock and I agree the Kippers are always far saltier but….. that's the attraction.
You'll look far and wide for as perfect a poached egg at 7:45 on they eggs benedicts. Bang on the money there.

We just returned from a two week Cunard cruise on the Queen Mary 2, which was our seventh Cunard cruise. The food has gotten worse and worse, not so much the quantity, but the quality. This last cruise was by far the worst and the first time we've been unable to eat several selections from the dinner menu. (Also our waiter was overworked and overwhelmed.) Our first cruise on the QE2, many years ago, was such a very different experience with every meal delicious. This last cruise was such a disappointment!

Especially like the fact that you show each individual daily printed menu and show each individual dish sitting on the table. That alone makes your food review videos far superior to the other ones out there on YouTube !! Iβm traveling this summer on QM2 (Transatlantic both directions ) with 12 days in London between voyages. This will be my first time on QM2 and is a lifetime dream of mine !!!
