We stayed in the town of San Gimignano while in Tuscany on our group trip and did day trips to see other cities and wineries from there to avoid constant packing and unpacking. We loved the spectacular views from Villa San Paolo! On our days of leisure we explored San Gimignano, which is known as the “Medieval Manhattan” with the towers that make up its skyline and relaxed pool side. Tenuta Torciano winery where we had wine tasting and dinner at one evening was definitely a highlight as was having our own party fun at our hotel.
