It's not like Bobby was disrespecting Gordon. It's just that Indian culture values the honour of our women. If the woman is cooking in the kitchen, the man is supposed to do the cleaning stuff… For Bobby, it would be disrespect if her mom or wife is made to clean the stairs as that's not the job of a chef

I thought Gordon asked the women to help clear tables because Bobby wasn't pulling his weight and it needed to be done. Bobby should have quickly cleared the tables in the time he was arguing with Gordon.
I love to hear communication in a restaurant kitchen that means they are working together ❤ and the food is fantastic!!! If there is no communication in a kitchen its concerning!! I work for pizza hut and when u have over 100 to 300 orders to fill you better communicate or you will get pushed around in our kitchen !! Just move out the way period !! It can be like hells kitchen im not even liein mangers have cried multiple times !! The pressure is intense!! Not for the faint of heart!! When u have 20 pizza's coming out the oven and not counting pasta coming out the oven you better know your place!! better know how to be a cut person period!! High stress and hot!!!

As an Indian American Gujarati, I think Gordon was right. He was trying to help Prasad, and it was silly that during the break he forbade his wife and mother to help clear the tables. That is silly. When you are in business, sometimes you have to clean the toilets yourself too. There is NO shame in it.
Also, the decoration was crap for both teams, but Indians in general, and not specifically the Prasad team, are silly to always want to give a wedding theme. There is more about our culture than Bollywood and weddings.
