Homemade Italian Stuffed Rice Balls – Arancini Recipe

This recipe has been an Italian favorite for years. These Rice Balls with a surprise inside were usually only found in authentic Italian restaurants and specialty grocery stores in Italian neighborhoods. As kids these were a real treat and always something we looked forward to and now as adults it’s something we reminisce about and always on the lookout for when dinning in fine restaurants.In this video I show how to make these Italian rice balls with just a few ingredients and just a little effort.

I have created my homemade version of this recipe for you to enjoy with your family. Below I have included the ingredients list.

Ingredients:
1 cup Jasmine Rice (Cooled)
1/2 Cup Italian Grated Cheese Blend (Parmesan & Romano)
1/2 Cup All- Purpose Flour
1/2 Cup Water
1 Med. Egg
1 Cup Italian Seasoned Bread Crumbs
2 Mozzarella String Cheese Sticks (Cubed) or 2 oz. Fresh Mozzarella
1/4 lbs. 85% Lean Ground Beef
2 oz. Frozen Peas & Carrots

Other Ingredients:

Salt
Pepper
Oregano
Italian Seasoning Mix

Vegetable or Corn Oil for frying (use enough to fill at least half or 3/4 of your pot)

Makes 2 Large or 3 Medium 3-4 inch Rice balls.
