Life in Italy is always a great time. And, having such great friends can make life in Italy even more fun. In this episode, we continue to show you our lives in Calabria, Italy, as we spend time with dear friends. We celebrate a belated birthday for John, and have a great time getting to know and become friends with some fabulous viewers of the channel, who had made their way to Italy, to make their own Italian dreams come true. In Italy, where llife moves at a much easier and more relaxed pace, there is nothing quite as nice as spending quality time with great friends.
We are Michael and Justin!
We are American expats, living now, full time, in beautiful Calabria Italy, in wonderful Scalea. Michael is physically disabled, with mobility issues. As we vlog Italy, we do like to show in our videos, that anyone can dare to dream of life in Italy, regardless of mobility issues. The truth is, Italy mobility can, at times, be challenging. But, never impossible. So, come along with us on our adventures in Calabria, and beyond! We experience Italy living to the very fullest. And we invite you along! Join us, as we give you this Calabria Italy tour, showing you Italy lifestyle, culture, and food.
We would like to thank you for taking the time to watch our channel. And, as always, we dare you to dream. Baci Baci!

Lovely video as always; I'm still blown away with Italian food. Everytime it looks so delicious and they seem to take so much care and pride in what they serve. It's a far cry from UK restaurants who in general are pretty sloppy unless you go to a really expensive high end place. Love that you're living your dream and so happy you share it with everyone. Very best wishes.
I love the regular hellos from Karina 💝
The way to a mans heart…food. Love this video! food tours in Italy…..
I saw you guys at Le Mimose on Tuesday, hahaha! It was literally minutes after I bought my first apartment in Scalea and this was the closest restaurant from the notary. I had seen a few of your videos before, so It was funky walking in and seeing you there. Keep up the good work, best from Prague.
Great information. Thank you. I haven't been able to figure out at what time lunch is…😅
Wow , your vlog made me so hungry !
I loved seeing all the different places to eat .
When are you going on your travel adventure with John and Michelle , I am really looking forward to that adventure.
Lots of love ❤
Happy belated birthday John!! It is nice to see you looking healthy again. Miss Karen hello and my best.
Ciao ragazzi! Thank you for another fun episode. In 10 days I will be in Castellammare del Golfo working on those steps with my walker!!! Lol Very excited! Buona domenica, Paul
I love how open and honest you are about living in Italy – that the journey has had its challenges. My favourite bit of the video was when Justin's strawberry dessert arrived (which looked the same as all the others) and he said "Mine's the healthy one!" 😅
Thanks for another fantastic video. We watch several Italy YouTube Channels but yours is, by far, our favorite. Not only is your content entertaining and highly informative for us ( we purchased property in Scalea) but more so, we both appreciate what genuinely good and kind people you both are.
Kind regards,
Vince and Peggy
Great video guys…your life in Italy is bountiful with friends and is beautiful to see 😊💕. Watching the video I was wondering if Italy has the same problem that we seem to have here and that is , store’s restaurants etc being under staffed. .? A lot of the youth here don’t seem to want to work these kinds of jobs? Have a most lovely week..❤️🇨🇦❤️Teri…..
Looks like you guys are having a blast with the great weather and delicious meals with friends! I'm a real sweettooth so of course that strawberry dessert caught my eye. Miss you guys!
I hope someday you'll have a live stream and take online questions. Best wishes. Leonard
Hi Guys, my daughters surprised me with tickets to Italy, called my family there, we will arrive on May 8! Can't wait!!!
Do a cost analysis episode..examples..car insurance,property taxes,utilities etc versus United States…
I enjoyed your video as always.. Keep Rockin' On! 💗
I love your videos, BUT Justin needs to slow down when filming inside stores! Too fast makes me dizzy!😬😵💫 love those orange crates customers are using.
Michael, can you knit a few rows to your current short hoodie. The little drive through town I almost didn’t recognize Michael voice so hoarse 😀
I had to stop the video at the start just to laugh! So human to fumble the language but your humor is far better than a perfect edit. Wonderful slice of life video (I love seeing the food and the groceries because we all eat and shop for food). It’s helpful to see what areas are more accessible (thank you for sharing your coping methods, Michael, and I always notice and enjoy your necklaces). What wonderful people. I’m so glad you have recovered and seem to be back strong. You motivate me to update my passport.
There are challenges any where you live … I think pursuing your dream and not stopping until you achieve it is what makes this journey of yours so rewarding.
You are living your dream! Bravo Justin & Michael! You didn't let any hurdles get in your way.
Thanks for another great video. Can't wait to return to Scalea this summer 😙😙
How can you tell areas for monthly rentals that aren’t steep. Am older. Close to.
Shops. Restaurants. Thanks so much
We really enjoyed seeing you all and Nancy(con familia). What a beautiful afternoon, we were in a food coma afterwards! Thank you Justin & Michael!
Thank you, love your honesty ❤️
Another lovely video ❤
Ciao amici, another great video. So wonderful to see your viewers visiting and seeing beautiful Calabria. It’s obvious you guys are admired and have made some wonderful friends. My heart can’t wait to get there. Very inspiring and thanks again. Love Italy ♥️
Glad to see you again having good time with your friends. The food is still so yummy ! You have right when you say that living in Italy is different, things are going slowly…In Sicilia you have to wait, for the train is coming, at least 20/30mn as a pedestrian to the railway crossing in the beautiful noon sun 😅of summer (40 degrees Celsius) 😅but everything is so beautiful and people so charming that you forget it..Have a nice week together and baci baci ❤
❤ Awesome again!!
I Love all your videos, even though I don't always comment, just wanted you to know. Hope Karen is doing amazing as well!
Living you through you with that zest for life – wish I could do the same there in Italy, well I prob. could, but have no one to do it with. Have a wonderful, happy day and thank you for sharing, I Love you both very much.
Lovely to see you both again and enjoying La Dolce Vita down south! In the meantime I'm up here enjoying the nature and peace away from the big city stresses. Phew! I always feel like I gain several kilos watching your vlogs LOL😂🤣😂You need to let me lose weight before summer! Big baci 🥰😍😘😘😘
I love honesty and not fake on youtube. Another great video
Very good prices. Everything is so expensive here in USA 🇺🇸 now unfortunately. Love you guys keep doing videos we love them ❤
Hey, guys, another fun video with your friends. The weather is looking great now it can only get better. The food looked so good 👍 it's always the highlight for me being a big foodie. Conad is a brilliant store. There is so much variety. I always look forward to your adventures. Thank you with much love ❤️ 😊
Happy Birthday 🎉
