This is back when they believed fat made you fat. Now we know that study was false. It's sugar (carbs) that makes you fat and unhealthy. If he only ate fat and protein instead of all that sugar he would have lost a ton of weight and likely lived longer. Too bad because he was really funny. Of course, most of his humor was about his weight.
