  1. That was a lot of fun to watch! Maybe a video going through your personal wine collection sometime and some of your favorite bottles you're holding on to would be fun. Keep up the good work!

  2. Vince, that was awesome! I thoroughly enjoyed the questions and your answers. I was super fun. We also LOVED your Virginia episode! We live in Northern Virginia and we have visited a large number of wineries around the state. You totally nailed it! All of your food and wine choices were perfect. Also, really happy to hear about Michigan and Texas down the road and looking forward to Chile. Thanks!

  3. Vince really enjoyed this episode. You talked about doing an episode on hybrid grapes and off-the-wall locations. I have something for you to consider, an episode in MN. You would satisfy both goals in one episode. The University of MN is world-renowned for its cold climate grape breeding, and it would be fascinating to learn how they create these new grapes and how long it takes. Plus, MN has a young but growing wine industry which would also be interesting to investigate – in my opinion :). Love your show

  4. These always help me out with my wine knowledge! Glad others have the same ponderings! Thanks Vince!

  5. So, I was in Kazahstan recently and had a bottle of blended Pinot Noir.. It was basically PN(31%), Saperavi(24%), Cabernet Franc(23%), Merlot(13%), Malbec(9%). I think it was called Assa Valley Almaty

  6. about wine faults, in january i had a red wine (mulderbosch faithful hound red blend 2019) and it was SOOOOOOOO sour, it literally felt like i was eating a warhead or something and i feel like there was no way it could be intentional. i tried it again the next day in hopes exposure to air would soften it a bit but it was still there. none of the reviews i read brought this up, so i don't think it was the wine itself, but when i googled common wine faults i didn't think any of them could be causing this sourness. do you know of any faults that could cause this?

  7. Sounds like south Africa could be a contender for your vacation, even though you don't mix work and play.

  8. A question for next time: what do you think of blends that include 5+ types of grapes. Seems like they all couldn't be significantly contributing to the taste.

  9. Somewhere tropical? Come to Brazil. Southern Brazil has a strong wine culture and some very good wineries

  10. Great video as always. Top tier🙌Maybe in future episodes also check out Austria. Went to a tasting with only Austrian wines from Johanneshof Reinisch and one of sons presented the wines. Just amazing 👌🍷

  11. You should do a show in Mendoza Argentina, there is +900 vineyards in the province of Mendoza, and they have the best Malbec in the world. And a few 100 points validated wines. Also, the people and food are incredible. pd: really enjoy the show.

  12. I found your site and videos, looking for info for our local wine group. Love it. And so does our group. So informative, interesting and personal. Going to join the VIP so I can get even more. Many thanks 👍🍷‼️

  13. When you go to Texas, make sure to try some Tannat! It does very well in Texas climate. It pairs very well with Texas BBQ!

  14. you should do an episode in Austria in for example the Wachau or the Südsteirische Weinstraße

  15. If you do film a TX episode please have a meetup! I would love to meet you!

  16. Hey Vince, massive fan here! Would be interested in doing a wine dinner/event here in London? i'm sure you have many followers here where we have more and more wine enthusiasts. Hope you could do English wines (particularly sparkling wines) and visit some of our amazing vineyards! And would be really cool to meet you if you ever have an event/show in London! It's so fun watching all your eps as it's so easy to understand (i love your NerdLab section!). Thank you for sharing us your knowledge, keep making wine videos, you and your team are awesome!

  17. Did you know Tidal Bay in Nova Scotia, Canada is the first appellation in North America!!
You should do a episode here:)
