  1. I Was born in Venice (actually Mestre) and my Parents moved when I was 3 years old…. That's Sucks !!!!

    Comunque complimenti.
    Davvero.

  3. Wonderful video. Been to Venice several times but taking the whole family in May. We have some favorite restaurants and eating experiences but would like some recommendations that are not necessarily know by all. Thank you for this great video.

  4. Hi! Tkank you for your video! I will be in Venice in July, so i will take it. But can you tell me exactly where is bacari with gondols ??? I saw a lot of Bacari but I didnt see with gondols, it will be perfect!

  5. Such a sensitive and well-curated list that embodies, beyond the popular and commercial stereotypes, the essential and timeless qualities that make Venezia unique and precious, a slowly fading but still beautiful dream of the splendor wrought by the generations that have gone before us. Thank you!

  6. I have been to Venice several times while Dad was stationed with NATO years ago. But my favorite was Feb 2020. I went for the first time by myself. Got an airbnb, took a food tour, made friends on the tour, enjoyed Carnavale. But…Covid hit. Everyone scrambled out of the city. Though the reason for everyone's sudden departures was terrible, I stayed a few extra days. It was the most serene, magical and divine time I has ever spent there. The streets were quiet, the canals were quiet and you only heard Italian spoken. Only locals in that spectacular city. The most magical moments where it seemed that there were presences from the past around every corner. Looking forward to going back.

  7. What a wonderful video! Thank you for doing this. I will be there in 2 months. Recommendations for a tour guide?

  8. Wonderfully well done, videos. Nice balance of enthusiasm, thoughtful insight and honest opinion. If you’re not making more videos this year, can you recommend others — esp on Veneto? Thank you!!!

  9. Venice is a city of secrets. You only find them when you walk, stop and speak to locals eager to share their secret places. The slower the better. Shame for the day tourists who see only what they are shown while racing. Getting lost is a discovery.

  10. Great work, Venice is enchanting, it is a special memory when we visited a few years ago, hope to come back again and see some of it.

  11. Oggi il mercato della frutta di Rialto è gestito da cittadini del Bangladesh. Quello del pesce molto ridotto..Non è più il glorioso mercato di 50 anni fa

  12. Thank you so much. I will visit Venice soon and now I know, what a really wish to see. Best regards 🙂 🥰

  13. Venice is a clean, beautiful, quiet place to visit. You need at least 3 full days to explore it & surrounding Islands. Also found one nice subcontinent food restaurant here ITAL INDIAN. It didn't look like the rest of Italy. I wish I had given more days here instead of Rome & Milan!
