  1. You two ladies are very beautiful, love listening to your stories. , on the way to work you really brighten up my drive' ! Thank you please keep these videos coming

  2. Just planned a trip to rome and italy for next month. I’m going for 2 weeks and i’m frantic trying to learn italian! Is it rude or looked down on to carry an italian dictionary? i’ve got some of the phrases down, hello good bye please thank you. metro coffee etc. can i get by with this or will it be a struggle in the more rural areas. (staying in a village in chianti)

  3. I served n the Army in Germany during the Cold War. Italians usually ran Italian Restaurants in Italy. There, Italian Dressing was more creamy where the dressing in German Restaurants was as described, oil and vinegar. Not sure why. I did notice when I ordered in Italian (rather than German or English) they took a little off the bill, probably assuming I was an Italian American, reasonably but erroneously.

  4. I'm such a wine lightweight! I love a glass but then I'm in bed an hour later! Thanks for the tips. I'm learning Italian and planning a trip for the future!

  5. Ewe! I’m American and would never think of doing that to my pizza. Yuk! 😲. Plus my breakfast is coffee and toast most mornings.

  6. usually in restaurant serves glass bottle of water there are going to given back to the producer and recycled. So as long are not plastic bottle it's not an environmental problem.

  7. Im Italian the marinara sauce is to sweet in the states and very stingy with olive oil and why Parmesan. If im eating it it better be romano. Dont ever ask if i want mustard or mayo on my italian sub. OLIVE OIL AND VINEGAR, ON SALADS.
    FOREVER.

  8. Wtf? You can’t get a glass of water, and you shouldn’t ask? You guys are snobs. Especially the brunette.

  9. I put ketchup on pizza it taste good not bad I don’t know why some people hate it, ( Just eat whatever you want who cares lol 😆)

  10. In America, in many states anyhow, restaurants aren’t required to pay their servers more than $2.15/hour. 🙁 This is why it is soooo important to tip your servers in America.

  11. I'm italian but I was born in the U.S. I want to teach in Italy but I know I can't because it's hard to get a visa :/

  12. In Italy it's non usual to get tap water from shops because you get free tap water from fountains spread all over the city.
Another thing is that coperto is not sneaky at all, that is a fixed charge for the service and for the expenses in general that you pay in every restaurant and some bars but only if you seat at a table.

  13. I think cappuccino is a dessert and one can take it whatever time, but better without any other food or with other small dessert.

  14. Do not tip in Europe. its not always nice. Some find it rude and condescending.

  15. I don't want to sound so bad, but USA being a rich country its food is so poor…I have been in Colombia, Mexico, Costa Rica, Spain, Italy…wow those countries really have good, very good food… I get depresses when I go to my local store ( Ingles) and order my lunch: macaroni, much potatoes, green beans ,,, and chicken… every time I go there for lunch or dinner, it is the same thing.. fortunately I go there not so often , only when I don't have time to cook my own food…

  16. cappuccino after 11? YES! pineapple or ketchup over pizza o pasta o carne pesce? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  17. So I'm 4 minutes in and I feel like I shouldn't be watching because I'm not American/North American 😐. Strange

  18. Love this video! Super helpful! And totally agree on the tip info! Same thing in France. We always left at least a few euros 😊

  19. I respect the tips, but it’s overwhelming to visit a country and see people looking at you weird because you are not Italian. A country with so many tourists such respect as well, knowing that we are not from there. I don’t know it’s just my humble opinion
