Veal Spezzatino authentic Ligurian dish. Veal is cut into small pieces cooked with potatoes and peas. First, cut the veal cubes against the grain into inch pieces. Then add to hot oil and brown. Second, chop fresh garlic, onion and bay leaf and add to browned veal. Then pour in beef stock with pinch of salt. Let it all simmer. Then add potatoes to the mix.
