If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ll probably know that I love Indian food. From flavorful biryanis to succulent masalas, to street foods like pav bhaji, samosas, and pani puri, I can’t get enough.

In 2021, I took an amazing trip to the United Arab Emirates to experience the country’s best Indian food. I wound up spending several days in Dubai, a city known for its exceptional wealth, luxurious accommodations, and legendary nightlife. But it’s also one of the best cities outside of India to experience authentic Indian cuisine! I even caught up with my friend The Food Ranger for some incredible Indian Food!

I’ve eaten my way across the Indian subcontinent across four massive trips that took me to cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Guwahati, and Trivandrum. Along the way, I fell in love with the unique flavors, spices, and ingredients that Indian cuisine is known for.

With nearly 3 million people of Indian descent living in the UAE, it’s no surprise that their food has become an important part of the local culture. In this documentary, I’m taking you into Dubai with some special guests as we dive into the wonders of Indian food in the UAE. Let’s go!

  1. It’s not a crazy fact that Dubai is 40% Indian. It’s called slave labour. It’s amazing what having money while others try to survive will do.

  2. David when you come to Mumbai next, try to cover the North of Mumbai for its "Portuguese" influenced food of the east Indians. There is this place called Vasai and a lot of East Indian Christians call it home especially in a small locality called Giriz. their recipes are very different from the regular street food you find in Mumbai. Vasai Palghar and Dahanu are 3 places which should be on your list, that is if you have not visited these places already !! There are some videos on youtube about food in these places if you want to check it out.

  3. 😅😅CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA WAS MADE I GLASGOW IN THE 70S MADE FROM A TIN OF TOMATOE SOUP THAT IS TRUE BUT AS FOR IT BEING THE NATIONAL DISH THATS NOT RGT DAVID THERE R SOME AMAZING INDIAN AND BENGALY RESTAURANTS IN BRADFORD AND BIRMINGHAM WHERE THE BALTI CAME FROM OR REALY ANYWHERE THERES A INDIAN OR PAKISTANI PRESENTS

  8. I love how in all his videos you see how much respect he has for their culture and for them when he shares food. The willpower it must've taken to not lick your fingers or wipe them I mean sure the licking of the fingers is bad table manners wherever you go but still top videos as always
