  1. When I went to Italy, and I kept eating pasta and pizza, I was concerned I would gain a few pounds, but not at all, when I got back to the USA I noticed I lost a few pounds. 😊

  2. It’s just not the same food outside of Italy. It’s amazing. Fyi…Mi Vida in SMA makes their own pasta and the Spaghetti Bolognese is one of the best dishes Ive had outside of Italy. For real doh. 😉

  3. Reminds me of my time studying abroad there. Not sure if you went to Trastevere but that’s a cool place to check out.

  4. Reminds me of my 1st trip to Mexico City. I didn't know what real Mexican food was until I went there. Was some of the best food I've ever had.

  5. I glad you're doing other Italian food. The only pizza I could enjoy in USA was at Joe's in Southlake, TX. But, normally I ate their stromboli.

  6. Hope you go all over Italy. I had the most authentic tiramisu in Assisi.

  7. Yeah, once you pay €1 for espresso or €1.30 for cappuccino in Italy, it's torture to buy coffee in another country.

  8. Great video, the food in Rome is pretty good…..but……….my comparison to the rest of Italy, it's average! So hope you travel to some other places to experience it (e.g. pizza in Napoli, pesto in Perugia etc!).

  9. What a great video ☺️Food is such an important part of discovering a culture and a country! Italian food seems absolutely amazing! It would be great if you did a grocery store review with prices. Thx Greg and Hillary ☺️☺️

  10. It seems like, when you visit the U.S. or go home to Mexico, none of the Italian food served will be as good as what you just ate in Italy. It all looked amazing!

  11. Did you know that this market is built on the original port of Rome – there is a cool graveyard and dump…yes ancient dump nearby. Large stacks of amphora were dumped there and there is actually a restaurant inside the stacks of amphora that is wilcly delicious ! My favourite wine vendor is at that market. LOVE ROME – go every September.

  12. When I think Italian food…one thing comes to mind…CHEESE. Most of their dishes or menu items will contain cheese. Yes, I did get hungry @3am…So I made a turkey and CHEESE sandwich.

  13. Great video guys! We just spent 1.5 months in Italy. Did you know that it's THE LAW that if you order an espresso and drink it at the counter, they can only charge 1 euro?! All around Italy. 🙂 Enjoy your trip.

  14. I am so excited for you guys! I am in PV right now for 4 months really enjoying the Christmas festivities but my next stop is Rome Italy. I'm heading there in May and I'm so glad that you guys are there to make videos to give me a sense of what it's like and to get me excited for my trip. Love your content, love you guys! travel safely and Merry Christmas!

  15. When I went there in the late 80s the pizza was not like in America, no big crust and cheese, mostly with olive oil instead of tomato sauce

  16. Loved 💗 brought back so many memories. Can't wait to try some of those restaurants. Such a good feeling to recognize some of the plazas from prior trips to Italy.

  17. Wow! The food just looked fresh and health, sooooo tasty. I have always dreamed of going to Italy.
Great content! Happy belated New Year!🤗
