  1. If you don't like the skins, use a blender (immersion or standing) and blend it smooth, back in pan, add noodles. It will be soooo silky from the skins being blended in.

  2. I use canned tomatoes for price and convenience! Plus my husband can't stand cherry tomatoes lol

  3. Good pasta sauce has to ferment for a little bit, doing it like you do is fine, but neither the cheapest, quickest or most tasty way to do it.

  4. Since you first posted this recipe, it's regularly been one of go-to dinner ideas! My mom loves it! She requested it for dinner this evening

  5. When I made this it didn't turn out great but I think adding tomato paste and more seasoning would add enough flavor and acid to the mix to be good

  6. Looks great. I am thinking a little corn starch to thicken that sauce up a little more would be perfect 😁

Could you do a sauce with ground beef in it?
Or direct me to a video you may have already done on it. 🤞

  7. I was on board until you threw in the devil's lettuce…parsley! I'll skip it and enjoy your culinary genius! TY!!

  8. Oh yeah, cherry tomatoes, so at 6 bucks a container this homemade sauce will actually still be more expensive than a store bought sauce

  9. That so much easier than the way I make sauce from scratch which is why I don’t do it often. I’m too lazy! Definitely gonna Tetris though. Thanks so much 💜

  10. You don't even need the onion. Adding that unnessary time chopping an onion when you can get great flavour from just the tomatos, olive oil, basil and garlic is a waste lf time

  11. Bruh where is the flavor? That's going to be sweet with a hint of tang at best no flavors whatsoever. Europeans are weak AF

  12. Cherry tomatoes are good, but the real secret is using San Marzanos.

Best tomatoes I've ever eaten, my favorite variety to grow, they just keep fruiting almost until the cold kills them.

No other tomatoes even come close.

  13. Imma be honest I only eat hunts garlic basil or traditional because I can’t do chunks. Would assume the same for a lot of people

  14. been making it like this since I was a broke college student lol. if you’ve got an extra 30 minutes so make your own noodles to go along with it, all it takes is a cup of flour, a couple eggs and some salt!
